The downside, for me that this, is no where good as The Thousands Year Door for GameCube. Heck this game get no experience points AND the battle against Goombas and his compadres are redundant and a waste of time. I didn't like it after playing it after 5 hours so I sold it for $35 after initial release. I know I know, this just my opinion and I don't expect everyone to believe me or have the same inputs as mine. since nobody has a 2 cents on this game, i might as well go first....
Don't get me wrong. I thought this game is witty and interesting and I did wanted to be open mind but the inevitable not so easy to avoid or skip the battle system was definitely a deal breaker to me.
One warning: This isn't one of the popular Mario platform games nor a modern one like Sunshine, Oddysey and such so don't expect to hold it value over time. Im looking at you, gamers with giant backlog of gaming library.
