OhmConnect is now offering a higher value smart thermostat (the ecobee3 lite) worth $169.99. If I didn't already sign up back when they were offering the free Google Nest, I would opt for this one instead!

I ordered one 2 weeks ago, On June 19, the day it was scheduled to be delivered, my delivery was "forwarded" to who knows where, it is now at a zip code 500 miles away. USPS won't answer my calls or return my emails.

OhmConnect is sending a new one, hope this one makes it to me.

Not sure if its a similar program but Alliant Energy (WI, IL, IA) is doing these promotions for Ecobee 3 Lite, Nest, etc. as well. Part of the agreement is they get to control your thermostat during high use times. You're allowed to bypass the change but can't prevent it.
