Im sorry, but theres nothing superior bout this low grade Andyson bronze PSU made and spec'd to compete with other Bronze PSUs.
The GA? Maybe on paper, but it clearly has issues or manufacturing QA is complete garbage. Clearesult 80plus testing has higher than normal ITHD for the entire "GA" line.
Not saying Andyson can't make/design a better PSU, but its apples to orange with what EVGA spec'd out.
So saying you must have 650W minimum is just pure misleading.
BTW all PSUs have a failure rate. I am beginning to think it is a Las Vegas gamble on any brand which may fail on you.
Then again I do not over clock and even truncate my CPU to 99%.
No 4GB video cards available at a reasonable price.
If you get real Japanese CAPS made in Japan from a quality manufacturer and not fake ones that would be something to consider.
However the market is full of fake stuff and it still boils down to actual use and the warranty experience.
A high quality Chinese CAP may be better than a fake Japanese CAP. Almost tempted to open one up and replace the CAPS with over sized ones.
Bottom line is these worked for me but if I knew the future and how prices on the higher end stuff are dropping well below $100 I would try to win a gold medal.
Thanks OP for your years of posting!
