I have tried Verizon Wireless, Pageplus, Total Wireless and Visible. The worst among all of them is Visible. Even though Visible is owned by Verizon, they cap it so much that it becomes practically useless when you really need it. For about the same price, total wireless provides much better service.
I have pratically given up with Visible and switching over to Total Wireless.
That's deceptive marketing. "Get up to a $200 virtual gift card.."
You only get $50 VGC when you port in a number.
The $200 VGC is for buying highly-priced devices like the iPhone 12 mini, when they come back in stock.
I'm pretty sure first month always cost $5 anytime any day if you get a referral code from an existing customer ($20 credit for new account, $20 credit for existing referring account)
Verizon service here in N California has not been good the past two months with many calls not going through, low or no bars in previously solid coverage areas and slow/no data. Something must be going on with possible work on their network and maybe this 5G tech is making 4G LTE worse. At the end of this month, I moving two lines to a Att or TMo mvno.

Did a self-referral a few minutes ago- new second line cost me $5 for first month and my existing line will be $5 next month
Yes, you can port in your number for this deal. If you are using eSIM, Visible would initially assign you a temporary number and then later transfer in your own number.,
