Smeg might be a decent product from Italy ---until you need warranty repairs [appliancesconnection.com] that excludes 'wear and tear' (#11), or after the 1 year very limited warranty expires and you have a brick in the wall chasing parts.

Seriously, a one year limited warranty that excludes wear and tear? .... lol

My $2200 Samsung range became useless after a year when literally all of it stopped working.

Not sure how this is any worse...

This is worse because and besides many other exclusions, wear and tear is not covered in even the 1 year warranty.

You can get parts locally for the Samsung that granted, would not be my choice for reliability and would definitely use my credit card to double the warranty to two years parts and labor.

My Kenmore is still working after 20 years, are ovens that unreliable now? I have wanted to replace mine for a few more features. Seems like maybe not?

More bells and whistles, more problems. The price for a decent wall oven is ludicrous.... more than a good stove in same brand that makes this Smeg almost appealing.... well, almost.
