Sorry my mind is bent looking for the right specs. I am dyslexic and have a hard time with making a decision. I think outside the box. I don't know anybody that knows computers, and sounds like you do

I am an artist and want to start doing some actual work online. I know illustrator like the back of my hand. Photoshop not so much but I just want a system that will run Adobe programs side by side without any issues but don't have very much money. I'm looking to spend around $1,000. I know it would probably be better to get in a desktop but I would like something more mobile. So my two choices are the Acer spin or the Asus Duo. can you help me make a decision.

Thanks but I also seem to take the path of least resistance. No Mac for me!

No please don't think I was trying to do anything rude I really was asking if it was a good deal.

I just always seem to get the best advice from people on slick deals.

It's a very trustworthy site to me and I have a lot of respect the users and knowledge shared on this site so please don't think I was being a troll although I had to look that up because I'm not very savvy when it comes to computer talk.

Thank you and I just thought about the troll thing and maybe that is kinda what I was being. I guess I was being selfish looking for an answer for my question. I don't do social media and don't have anyone that knows computers. I need help deciding the best computer for all of my needs with not much money.

You might try asking the graphics arts instructor at local or even online college/university what their students use. The Adobe site lists many required specifications for computer to efficiently run Illustrator, but some people talk online about using computers with marginal specs, without any problem. You may want to consider a desktop model because they may be less expensive and offer more options or be easier to (re)configure. If you look at buying any refurbished computer I would take a hard look at the warranty. Some manufactures offer discounted refurbished "new" computers with the same or better warranty than the new ones sold and returned, that have scratches, dents, or were DOA. Generally, the refurbished computers offered online are older models that have already depreciated several years, and carry a minimal warranty.
