Does anyone other than me see any interest in this deal?
not unless a legit site like projectorcentral or projectorreview does a formal review on it. It is probably the cheapest UST out there, but you are still paying 2k for a no name brand device.
Does this even include the screen?
The hisense deal for 2400 include a 100" screen (3000 for 120").

Is the hisense deal a ambient light rejection screen? If so great deal if not then I don't think it'd be worth it. I own a UST and just made a spandex screen so my speakers could hide behind it. Pretty much on par or better than any screen other than an ALR one that's designed for UST.
Edit: Nvm found found the deal and yes it was a proper screen for UST. It was a good deal
I recently bought the 120" Hisense. Did a bunch of research.
Problem with this one is I've found very few reviews and very few details. What is the input lag? Gaming on a 120" 4K screen is amazing, this is an important number I can't find.
These UST projectors really need an ALR UST screen to shine. Keep in mind a 120" screen like that is almost 2 grand.
Got this for rather cheap price. I can tell you I am super "impressed with its superb picture quality". There are few members who have reported issues, but overall it really stands out for this price point. I am getting really good image (@ 110"). For me picture quality is what mattered, and I have no complains. When it was listed on amazon earlier folks felt safe when it came to returns, but now ordering directly from them, return process can be iffy (if its even possible)
Btw, the ONLY two negatives I see are as below (not an issue for me and for most)
~ Audio really sucks (anyway everyone uses ext soundbar)
~ While its Android TV, apps are limited/non-existent (who cares, we go with FireStick 4k/Chromcast Ultra which was better than free Roku stick it came with)
In fact I am projecting on the wall for now and its still looking good. It needs a CLR-ALR screen (for UST), and those can be expensive.
Very interested in this type of product. Do you need a special screen or a special paint on the wall? What if the wall is painted a light green color, does it work? or does it have to be white? What do you guys use?

This is just a gamble at this point.
I was thinking of buying the hisense 120, how's your experience been?
What good solutions did you guys come up with for the media stand? The media console needs to be at least 25" deep. Has anyone found good consoles so that it doesn't have to be several inches away from the wall?

The Hisense deal for $2,400 was not triple laser. The tri laser is $3,800

You don't have anything on your ceiling, you aren't running cords everywhere, you don't have the problem of someone standing up and blocking the view.
Most importantly (with an ALR screen) this can be used in high ambient light scenarios such as a living room.
While these aren't TVs as we think of them, they are much more like a flatscreen than an old school projection setup.
