I don't keep up on treestand brands much, but is this brand something special? I feel like the cheapo small platform one like this at dicks is often on sale for $40-50. I will say this seat looks a little nicer. I only bother with ladder stands these days, but have used a lot of those and they work just fine enough, and obviously some spots aren't great for ladders.
