Contrary to the paragraph above, rtings own tests show the 900h is significantly better.

From rtings [rtings.com]:
The Sony X900H and the Sony X85J are very similar overall. The X85J has a higher native contrast ratio, but the X900H has a full array local dimming feature that can reduce blooming in dark scenes and improve contrast. On the other hand, the X85J has a flicker-free backlight, and the more recent Google TV interface is a bit faster than the older Android TV 9.0 interface on the X900H.
With the 900 and 950 models regularly going on sale at prices close to this, I sure don't see a deal here. In fact the 85" 900 has been cheaper than this several times in the past year, and is a much better TV.

In a nutshell, yes. TV manufacturers rallied around standard sizing quite a while ago now, 55, 65, 75, & 85 inches now all being the norm. Older off sizes that used to be common such as 58, 60, 70, and 72 are pretty much non existent now. Just out of curiosity, what is wrong with a 75? Not much bigger than a 70, and with virtually frameless TVs now it might be the same size as an older 70.

All manufacturers share the same panels from samsung or LG at least for the more fancy panels like qled or Oled, and you get whatever size those guys make. I.e. no more 70 inch size. Is your wall that specific that you can go with 75?
