I have been eyeing this monitor for a while and had only seen it go as low as $749. It's still pricey at $599, but compared to the Samsung G7 32" at $799 the Acer is a good deal.
They also have the 170HZ version of the monitor on sale as well for $499 down from $599.

That is a good deal for a 4K monitor. For me, it was more of a personal preference, I wanted something with a bigger screen size (30"+). I had the chance to play a bit on the Acer at my buddies and I really liked the higher refresh rate compared to my current 27" 1440P 144Hz screen.
I take it MC doesn't do trade-ins? Bought the 27" from MC which I like but 32" always calls out to me.
Guessing it's outside the return window? If your MC is close by, I would suggest stopping by and talking to a manager to see if you can return it still (hoping that you haven't had your 27" for too long)
This is an amazing monitor. I have had it since launch. The colors are amazing you can run 10-bit color all the way up to 270hz.
USB c as a display with charging so if you have a laptop you don't even need a charger.
Make sure you have a pc that can push higher frames though! Destroys any other 2k IPS 240hz monitor out right night especially at this price point.

And very few current gen games can run at 4k 144hz without modifying or lowering settings drastically.
I'd much rather play 1440p and 200+ fps, than 4k at 120ish fps.
