I don't know about this specific unit, but have had bad luck with Cuisinart Espresso machines in general. We went through four Cuisinart EM-25's before we gave up that they would not work.

Isn't this similar to Nespresso? Won't buying Nespresso machine be cheaper?

This is a "Nespresso" machine.

Nespresso doesn't actually make any machines, they are made by Breville, Krups, and DeLonghi,, etc. under licensing agreements. However, there is nothing to stop other manufacturers from make machines that work with Nespresso OL capsules, without any official licensing.

Sure if you can find an officially licensed Nespresso OL machine for less, if would be cheaper. $99 would be close to the best deal you might find for a basic machine (other than a refurb).

Nespresso Uno, Creatista, etc heat-up time is 3 seconds. 30 seconds is slow.

My Nespresso citiz took at least 20 seconds to actually warm up (regardless of the "3 second warm up time"). That was a mid-level machine, so...

My citiz takes about 5sec from hitting button to solid ready to brew

Jealous. When I do that, it's not as hot as when I wait.

Same. 🤕 The look outstanding, but don't last long.

It uses Nespresso OL style capsules. Some are plastic, some are aluminum, depending on the brand.

You must have the "magic" Citiz, from the Nespresso description:

Weight: 7.5 lbs
Product Dimensions: 5.1 x 10.9 x 14.6 inches
Heat Up Time: 25 seconds
Pump Pressure: 19 bar
Water Tank Capacity: 34 oz

Which is pretty much what the warm up time on mine is.
