Link please, I agree this is overpriced, 3600x can be had for $160-180 before pandemic
Leaked performance indicates that the 5600x will lose to a 12600k by a large margin, and it will only cost $20 more. Or youll be able to buy a slightly better performing 12400 for $180 with an IGP.
Even if you dont end up buying one of those, AMD will drop prices further when Intel 12th gen launches in October.
The thing with Intel is you WILL need a new motherboard may be new memory to go with it.
I already have Ryzen 1600 system and this will just be a drop in replacement. This was my first AMD system in a while and this is tempting.
I didn't even expect it to go this far. I thought the 3600x was the end on my road map.
