Yeah, it is really difficult to click on the link and scroll down to timing. Takes a couple seconds. Life must be hard for you.

I'll counter with a thumbs up for a good deal.
Got it. You are not in the market for RAM but you felt compelled to post in this thread so you could whine about the OP.

Hard to believe anyone interested in RAM, therefore looking at this thread, is going to get all worked up about having to click on the provided link. Except maybe a Karen

But someone else already posted the timing so you have no need to whine now.

OP is to be commended for posting the deal. Thumbs up!

Just curious considering the cl22 on these has quite high latency. Wouldn't it be better to get the tforce Zeus from Amazon for a few dollars more and they are cl16? Or not that big of a difference?

Not that big of difference. If it's a few dollars more so why not. I look at the manufacture's warranty length and see if you have to pay for shipping. Amazon's returns are easier compared to Newegg's. Hopefully whoever is buying either of these will utilize most of that speed.

Edit: Don't understand the TD. Unless you are doing an extreme AMD build that requires SO-DIMMs, 99% of buyers aren't going to notice the latency difference.

There are a number of reviews coming out in the last 90 days that highlight the difference CAS timing/latency has on laptop performance.

Would this work in my xps 9500? The memory configuration tool on their site doesn't show the 9500. I see it currently has 2x8gb ddr4 2933mhz in it, which id like to replace with 32gb . Thanks for any guidance.

Most laptop doesn't have "xmp function"...

Just FYI. That CL16 memory is 1.35V, versus 1.2V for the OP G.Skill memory. A lot of laptops will only work at 1.2V, which will run the CL16 memory at 2666 (whatever the laptop default SPD) at 1.2V. This surprises a lot of people! Most CL16 memory is going to be 1.35V!

It's not about me, I'm not in the market for RAM. It's the THOUSANDS of other people who have to click through the link, then scroll down to click on specifications, then click on to more to find four very important numbers that the OP should know are crucial to RAM quality (if he knows anything about computers, other than how to repost the deals Newegg already posts on their website every morning).

If the OP would take the extra 15 seconds to do it himself in his daily Newegg spamming, thousands of others wouldn't have to.

Yes, post the deal, but DO IT RIGHT.
Add the SPECS.
It is also called a FORUM, so a member making a valid point is not a "karen".

or you could just be more helpful and post the timings yourself if you're THAT passionate about it, instead of trying to tell other people what they should do.

i do find the timings info helpful, but it's not that big a deal. while i appreciate you trying to start a trend of posting the timings, you've done your part and if it doesn't stick, then you can just try adding a comment with the timings instead of your TU/TD comments.

this is a community forum with community effort. the OP doesn't have to cater to everyone's desires, so we help each other out in answering questions and contributing to missing info.
