That's what I expected too, but 310-in-lbs of torque is actually quite low for a cordless drill.
The BOSCH GSR12V-300FCB22 posted here yesterday(a 12v drill) has 300-in-lbs torque, so only slightly less, and most 18v+ drills will beat this drill's torque.

For the price it's not bad, but as Amazon reviews point out, this doesn't stack up well with other brand's 24v, 20v, or even 18v drills.
