Careful using gift cards booking a cruise. If you ever need to cancel (uh, COVID) it makes it basically impossible to get a refund. Been dealing with it for 18 months now.
You can use RAISE to purchase Carnival gift cards in ANY amount and earn 9.5% raise cash (you can buy new cards with your earned raise cash, but you can not withdraw it). Be sure to use a CB portal (like TCB) to earn another 2%CB on your raise purchase. And finally use your PP Key (with Chase Freedom/Freedom Flex) as payment method on RAISE.
If you do it all right you end up with 9.5% + 2% + 5% = 16.5% cashback for any amount of Carnival gift card (up to the Freedom bonus limits, and cashback portal limits).
Use your raise cash to buy cards that are rarely ever on sale -- like Walmart gift cards. Just to cash it in...

I've had no problem re-booking my trip originally scheduled for September 2019 twice until September 2021. The funds go back on the gift card then automatically go on the rebooking.
The same discount percent is always available thru Allstate Reward (don't have to have their insurance and rewards points are easy to accumulate). Only downside is it is a physical gift card that gets mailed to you.
