Allen & Roth Queen/King 100% Cotton Sheet Sets - Clearanced at Lowes as low as $17.97 - YMMV
I checked out the clearance endcap at Lowes, and found a few of these sheet sets marked down to 50% off. I picked up a taupe king size set, and it rang up another $12 lower than the marked, clearance price of $33, so I was out the door for $21 plus tax. They felt soft in the package, but time will tell once I get them on the bed.
I checked online and there's other various colors also clearanced. Here's a few links:

Agree completely. The regular prices are within a stones throw of quality sheets that would last years when alternating two sets.

You can use brickseek to see what stores have them in stock, if you search by zip code.
I paid $21 for a king set that was originally $59, which ends up being 65% off. With a little work, you can score this type of savings as well.
