Debating between this and a TCL 6 series. This is much cheaper but I think it might be a 2020 model? Hisense seems to be going more towards Android TV.

This has VRR and higher refresh from the non(r) variant that is supposedly cheaper by a little else where
TCL r646 has higher HDR and peak due to the mini LED tech but theres a toss up between the buggy software and the dimming not being consistent; its a shame because mini LED for cheap is great but ruined by the algorithm that reads the content doesn't do well sometimes which is why theres so much split opinions on the 6 series this year from others; it inherently hurts the branding on the 6 series because people depend on the flagship monicker of the 6 series and it hasn't shown to be problem free AFAIK
Showing $649.99 and available for delivery for me. I wish I had seen this price drop, I already ordered the Best Buy one that doesn't have a 3 year warranty.

Damn supply chain...it is unavailable to me in Minnesota from either shop. Checked my old Chicago zip code and same. Looks like I'm sticking with my 75" U6G delivery tomorrow. Roku and VRR on the 65 U6GR are appealing, but 10" is always fun too.

A time traveler from 2010. See my yearly anti-harassment training has conditioned me to avoid the obvious guy jokes because we may be in mixed company. But if we are not in mixed company, then well played.
