First off I am not a coffee snob….and I don't know all the fancy ways to make or order a cup of coffee.
1. This is smaller than I expected, but it's really nice looking.
2. The cork part can come off, and it's not difficult to get it off and back on to wash it.
3. (Full disclosure) I washed mine when I first got it, but haven't since. Because I have used it everyday so far, and it's just me, I simply rinse it out a few times. I mean….it only had coffee in it. I will wash it again, just not every day.
4. Coffee doesn't seem to strong, and I can't tell much of a difference between this and my Ninja.
5. I have tried without and once with a paper filter. Only difference was less oils/sediment with the paper filter. I think I like it without the paper filter, but I don't drink the last 1/8 of the coffee in the container.
6. I made sure to let it bloom, but it feels like (and why I tried the paper filter) that water flows too fast into the pot. I watch videos and read up on it, so I am pouring correctly and waiting to add more water. Not sure if that is normal or not.
7. When you pour the coffee some always seems to drip down the side and onto the cork. Not much, maybe a small drip, so I just make sure to catch it first.
Overall, I think it's pretty neat to have one. Today, I did use the ninja, I was being a little lazy. I think I would buy it again knowing what I know now, but it's really a tossup. Since I have a coffeemaker I like, this was more for fun and something new to try.

Good feedback, I was about to jump on this until I read your post. Do you submerge it to clean it? I generally just rinse the inside of my current pot or out a little soap inside of it and scrub with a brush. But that might not be the best way with this.
