What is the QC45b? Not familisr wth the "b"?
Not sure what "B" means, probably bluetooth? I checked the model number in the description and it matches the one in Bestbuy.

it wont connect to your pc for sure windows 10, the only way i made it by using a stupid $70 bose bluetooth adapter to my pc.
but once it gets connected it was nice and peaceful for calls, but people were only able hear me properly when i switch to quiet mode ,in comfort mode i need to shout or speak loud.
i connected to two different devices my pc and my iphone,it was switching fast between devices, but when i am still on my teams call if i get any call on my phone its switching to my iphone,this is something useless i felt
i forgot to mention the main reason to go with bose was for noise canceling due to infant cry in my home , i heard bose had best noise canceling, i even tried microsoft surface 2 headphones and returned it back, they are too heavy and bulky, saw good reviews on jabra but i dont think their earpads will be comfy for me.
but if you are looking to connect to your pc you definitely need a bose bluetooth adapter for smooth connect.
i use airpods pro for my phone, but i bet 100% that bose is not as fast as airpods in connecting to your iphone, most of the time i need to manually connect to my iphone by going to bluetooth settings, don't expect a fast connection like airpods to iphone.
the regular price is a bit much over $300 but $280 seems fairly reasonable and comparable to the XM4, it's only real competitor in this market of ANC headphones - and to me the QC series are FAR more comfortable than either the XM3/XM4 or even the Airpods Max.
Ive stopped using over the set headphones all together and rotate between Airpods 3rd Gen and Airpods Pro since i mainly use them for watching TV.
Once you experience spatial audio while watching a movie/tv show with Dolby Atmos sound it's hard to go back - unless you have a serious sound system set up.
For regular music i use a USB-C DAC and a pair of HD58x if i want to get the full experience of listening to lossless / HQ music tracks

They only get about 4.5-5 hours of battery life per charge (althought they recharge quickly) vs the QC35II at 20 hours.
However if you are using headphones to watch TV via Apple TV 4k / Macbook / iPad the spatial audio can't be beat.
For general use listening and longer listening times - the QC series may be best.
Ive shied away from over the ear headphones (esp those with noise cancellation) bc of ear fatigue, after a while you soemtimes dont even notice you have the Airpods in your ears (The pro you definitely notice - again bc of the noise cancellation and the silicon tips which create a seal).
If you are on the fence you could always grab a set of the gen 2 for $90 to give them a go and return them within most retailers extended holiday return period
I have the QC25, and was thinking of upgrading to the QC35 or maybe even these. It's just so hard to get away from them even though they are wired haha.
