Honestly. Not going to show my kids k cups. Too much waste on the environment
While I agree, I think this makes a perfect toy. We use a french press to get away from plastic all together, but this is a pretty cute toy and no coffee grounds to clean up. Lol
We were gifted an amazing kitchen set... but in the center has a K-Cup maker. I hate it, but if you don't install it, its load bearing so you compromise the entire thing. Don't encourage K-Cups....

Tell the kids these are the reusable ones. If they throw them away then they can't make any more coffee, or do they have 120 packs at Costco, or maybe subscribe and save from Amazon would be good. Could teach the kids about that. Or the amazon reorder button. What happened to those?
Kids do not need to be encouraged to look forward to getting indoctrinated with caffeine. I see the people I work with or have worked with and how they are straight-up jerks before their morning "wake up" (coffee.)
And for those that are thinking of "what about this" or "what about that?" I think that anyone who needs a daily morning stimulus regardless of the delivery system should seriously consider cutting that out of their lives. Kids should never get started on it.

Because it symbolizes a few things about adulthood that we aren't particularly proud of.
