As good as it gets right now. Not hot but nothing better. If you have their cc (Payboo) they credit you tax immediately, so it's like no tax. In CA that's over 10%! That makes it a decent deal.

This is the current best deal for 16 gb and anything other than 256gb ssd. 150 off. They also have 100 of the 1 TB version. I don't buy home desktops often so I might just bite the bullet and go 1 TB to buy some time before I need to deal with external HDs.

you are paying $500 for 8gb ram and 256gb SSD. pretty sad apple does that. It should be no more than $200-$250 more than regular price.

exactly, $750, $799 should be enough for 16gb 512ssd, no more!
