This was one of the rare games that was pretty much perfect on launch.

This game was amazing. I couldn't imagine going back to the original after this, and I loved the original. I just hope it doesn't take them another 10+ years for the next part, though I won't be surprised if it does. The PS5 version of this is legit. This game really needs to be played at 60fps, it if that's not an option for you, it's still super worth it on PS4.

Also, for the inevitable, "Can I buy this on PS4 and play it when I get a PS5?" Yes, and you get a free PS5 upgrade. If you're one of the people who downloaded FF7 when it was a PS+ game, you will not get that free upgrade. You have to actually buy the game.

Update: I should have also mentioned that there is zero reason to get the PS5 version, over the PS4. Since you get a free upgrade anyways, why get the more expensive game that can only be played on one system, when you can get the cheaper one and play it on two systems? Then you have the option of reselling it to someone who might not have a PS5.

b2g1 on used would be the better deal, however if you're going for the ps5 version I would confirm if the Yuffie dlc is included in the disc or if it's a code that may have already been redeemed

I bought it on ps4 digitally for $30 early this year and enjoy everything that the game is on ps5 - just missing the Yuffie content which i might splurge for if I need more of the game when I finish it

I did GameStop preowned b2g1, so ps4 version is 25*0.67=16.75, Amazon ps5 version is 45, difference is 28.25. Not sure does the DLC worth this amount, also it's a code, you can't resell it with the disk

If one gets the PS5 upgrade for free, why would one want to pay an extra $20ish for the PS5 Integrande version? Genuinely asking as I want to pick this up, but trying to figure if spending the extra $ for PS5 version is worth it.

I liked the game but what?! First it's only a small segment of the original game, secondly if it were complete, there wouldn't have been a need for Intergrade (not intergrande lol).

Only intergrade has Yuffie in it. The upgrade only gives the visual upgrade to ps5.
