After missing out on the first deal direct from DJI via ebay, I decided to purchase this deal from reseller "dronesuperstore", who claims to be an official DJI ebay outlet store. So far everything seems legit, but I'll report back if that changes.

Does DJI Care Refresh apply to certified refurb? I thought it was only for new unactivated products

It's available for refurbished if you purchase for DJI authorized dealers. You must purchase within 48 hours of first time using your refurbished drone. The offer will pop up when you use for the first time.

I just bought from these guys,it looked like their shipping might be faster than DJI. They sent it the next day from NY, it was in MD in a day. Perfect condition, complete repackage right down the the cellophane. You couldn't tell it was a refurb except for a sticker that says RS, Refurbished Stock I am guessing.

This package is SO much better than the Costco new Fly More kit, I packed that one up very nicely, down to the stickers, and took it back last night. The dronesuperstore one has three batteries, a bigger, better case, the 3 battery charger, a clamp to protect the blades, extra thumb control sticks, even a 3 amp USB charger so I didn't have to hunt one. The battery charger is clever, rotates through the batteries to charge them each fully in serial. The only thing it's missing is the 32GB card, and really who cares I put in a 64GB high endurance and was off to the races last night.

The drone too is awesome, very light, performed well in the wind, they stabilize well. The pictures are incredible. I also packed back to costco a $50 "4K" cam drone they had on the floor. It was way better than the Amazon comps, but not 4K and nothing like the DJI.

This thing is so cool, I highly recommend the drone and dronesuperstore

Edit - It may come with more extra props than Costco, they are individually wrapped in pairs versus in a bag. Also you need to sign for it when UPS comes, which makes sense, this thing is small and very steal-able. My UPS account tells pretty well when they are coming. Costco uses cards on the floor and keeps them locked up in the manangers room for the same reason.

Confirmed, the offer popped up for me with the dronesuperstore refurb during set up, I won't be getting it, the Allstate warranty is enough for me.

Allstate does not cover fly away. It also isn't repaired by dji. It's just square trade using the allstate name.

personally i think that's a mistake. it's cheap and there's no reason not to get it. allstate is a warranty, dji care refresh is insurance. if you crash your toyota and you ask them to repair the damage under warranty because you don't have progressive....it doesn't make sense. i can assure you ever drone will crash. how much damage is debatable but it's like riding a motorcycle....you WILL crash. however, care refresh is not for everyone so this message is for everyone else who might be reading this: care refresh allows you to be a better drone pilot as you navigate your drone with less fear of crashing. the mini flys well in the wind....until it doesn't. one day youll get all those crazy wind warnings on the remote and then it will become apparent there's no way a mini drone can fight all winds. i wouldn't get the 2-year care refresh, the one year should suffice. and i could be wrong, i don't know much about the allstate deal, maybe they are pretty lenient. but i think your refurb already comes with a warranty so not sure of the overlap. i've had the mini2 since launch, it likely won't have any warranty related issue.
