It may be 1080p, but it's 360hz. For a 17" screen and the distance you'll likely be sitting, it's not like you'd really notice 1440p anyways

I just purchased this laptop because I gave up trying to get a Legion 5 Pro. 45w i7 8 core 140w (system reported) 3070. Screen is very bright and crisp with a very high refresh rate. No dead pixels on mine and I honestly don't notice that the screen is a "poor" resolution. It's heavy, but what 17" laptop isn't? Definitely don't use this as a lap computer though as you will likely burn yourself or your computer up.. The cooling is intake on the bottom and vents out the back and sides with all the hot heat pipes in the center. The perfect nut roaster.

I wasn't happy with the cost either, but. I bought this same laptop and its mining ETH lol. 66.84mhz at 109 watts at 50c.

it will be mining 100% until eth 2.0 comes out. Im not even touching it to turn it off or update. im hoping, it will pay itself half off by then. but yes. it is costly

use costco cc and you get 4 year warranty.

the mistral Klim stomps my other laptop coolers with this laptop, its literally ram air, forcing cold air through the laptop keys, ports etc. if anyone is wanting a legit cooler.

I returned the 16gig one because screen is dull.. i bought Gigabyte 15p from Best Buy and screen is way much better than this.

I checked both but Gogabyte have sRGB and GE76 don't have it.. its plain 1080p..

3060 doesnt have True Tone.
3070 has True Tone software, a lot of people disable/delete the True Tone software on the ge76 3070 model and it makes it brighter, ive read about it. I am 99% positive, because it shows up on my msi panel True Tone stuff.

but I have no interest in any of that, the screen is fine as is for me.

yes. all ge76's are 1080p.

10 second google search popped this up- but only the 3060 ge76's from what I understand doesnt have True Tone. the 3070 and 3080 models do

I cant say 100% tho as im not digging into it or trying to uninstall it as mine is mining for 6 months. I dont think im even going to touch it again.


edit, my laptop does have a True Tone, I was playing with it. it has multiple settings and it changes the entire hues' and brightness of screen. I forgot about that. so what I read was, if. you uninstall it, the screen gets a lot brighter. but im not concerned w it. its bright enough for me.

This order the HP Omen Laptop with RTX 3070 going for 1440? I don't mind waiting for HP, and I don't have costco credit card, though I am a member. Also will this be able to mine Ethereum 2.0 ? Whats the deal with that. Thanks in advance

I was referencing another members comments. Nothing wrong w this laptop. 3070 for 1440 is a good price

I own the laptop in op, Costco 3070.

But any full power 3070 should yield good hash
