Apologies if this isn't slick as I'm completely new to the Chromebook market, but I believe this refurb Acer Chromebook Spin 713 13.5" Intel i5-10210U 1.6GHz 8GB Ram 128GB SSD from Acer Official (eBay) model CP713-2W-5874 is an all-time low for a refurb. And it comes w/ 2-year warranty. 2K touchscreen w/ nice 3:2 display.
It hit front page in August for $395. Is $379 a must-buy?

Edit: YMMV, but I was able to purchase directly from Acer and was not charged any tax here in Texas. I don't believe purchasing from acer refurb comes with the 2-year warranty that eBay has, but in this case I'd choose the lower price.

@willo13b had similar tax-free success ordering directly from target.

Edit #2: Use code EPIC2021 @ Acer's website for $19 off. Looks like it takes off the same $19 whether you use EPIC2021 or 5% email code, but not both. That makes it $360.99 for me, tax free no shipping. Hopefully most if not all people live in a state where, between Acer and Target, they don't get charged tax. And as a few others have mentioned, you can get extra % back with either a Chase Freedom (PayPal) or Target Red card.

Also for anyone else who has a Chase Freedom card, you can use paypal to pay with your Chase Freedom and get another 5% back (4th Quarter cash back category is paypal).
However, keep in mind that for Acer Recertified, BUYER pays return shipping. Not quite sure that free returns through Target/Walmart/eBay is worth giving up the extra 5% off from Acer (~$18), but it's worth keeping in mind given this is a refurb.

Would you be so kind as to provide a link to this Target deal you are referencing? Thanks!

Is the no-tax a redcard benefit?
Edit: Although target seems to be charging me tax, the direct acer website isn't showing any tax during checkout! I haven't clicked all the way through to the final screen and actually purchased, but I may try purchasing direct if I can be redirected to the paypal website without actually submitting payment yet. Some websites catch me off guard and the redirecting to paypal and my payment itself constitutes the agreement to purchase, and I return back to the store website to learn my order was already submitted (rather than prompting me to click one final "Submit" button).

I don't think so it's probably a location thing. Sorry it didn't help! Maybe it will help others looking for this nice piece.
