Got 2 30lb bags for $83. Still makes them about 10 cents per pound more than if I went to Sam's and got the 38lb bag they have, but this way I don't have to drive an hour to pick them up. Because of gas. This ends up being cheaper or about the same price. Thanks!

I get 25 every weekend but my partner never does. Might want to make an alternate account. I stack it with their regular sales and clearance stuff every week. It's definitely odd how they hand out 20% vs 25% and on some accounts nothing

Anyone have any thoughts on Blue Buffalo. I had a roommate who would only buy it and other people have told me it's no good because of some reason I don't recall (ingredients not ethics)...

Probably because some of their food contains carrageenan which is thought to be a cancer agent.

It's not used for anything but thickening food, but sure why it's necessary.

They were the subject of I believe the largest pet food recall ever a number of years ago and the stigma has stuck around. It's a perfectly fine pet food with a large marketing budget. Is it top tier food? Absolutely not. But it's definitely 2 rather large steps above your kibbles and bits and meow mix.

Petco has 35% off repeat delivery for most dog foods regularly. It states first time only but for years it has never been that way. Currently Blue Buffalo is 50% off. Max discount is $20 but still a better deal.

Also, I posted the Wellness brand dog food deal on Amazon which seems to be getting no attention but is cheaper per bag and a better brand in my opinion.

Very few Blue Buffalo varieties exceed "average" in nutrition. Many are much below average. It's very easy to do better for the same price.
