Would i be able to get a sim card or activate a line specifically for the apple watch? Would this allow her to make calls and receive calls over data?

Tmobile sells a senior watch which is free after credit that works stand alone without a phone. Service is only 10 a month. You can track and call from the watch without a phone. I'm pretty sure you cant use the apple watch without a phone attached.
