Best Buy 2 year accidental warranty is like $70... After taxes the total was just under $500 for the Pro version. I'll have to see how much the Amazon warranty costs, but I think the best buy extended warranty is probably superior... I've read horror stories about this company and their lack of support, so I figured the 2yr warranty was the way to go
Thank you so much for this post!
I have been waiting for the Pro to go on sale.
I bought from Amazon because the 3 year warranty was only $37 while the Best Buy extended warranty was $70 for 2 years.

What's the manufacturer warranty on these? Do they not honor the warranty for such an expensive product?
With a massage gun that keeps pounding (moving parts and force) it's bound to get bad in a year or 2. If they can't honor their warranty or stand behind their product, then it's worse than the $30 massage guns available on Amazon. At least those sham guys honor a return.
Also, any advantage to buying from manufacturer vs third party like Amazon besides extended holiday return?

Coming from a Mini, need to upgrade. Elite or is the PRO worth the extra bucks?
Depends on what you are looking for.
On the Mini, do you press hard enough to stall the motor alot?
If so, then Pro might be good for you. Elite might not stall either as it has better stall force than Mini, but again.. depends on what you are doing.
If you like the quietness of the Mini and want to continue with something that is quiet, then Elite is better than Pro. Pro is really loud. Elite is loud, but not so much like the Pro. Elite will be louder than Mini.
If you like to have multiple position angles, then Pro has that.
If you want exchangeable batteries, then Pro has that.
If none of this matters to you, then maybe Elite due to lower cost.

Thank you. It does stall quite a lot. I like the quietness, but I haven't really heard either the Pro or Elite.
The things I do value more than loudness is to be able to use the gun on myself and getting a deeper massage without stalling, but obviously no one likes an unbearably loud gun.
Is the PRO so much louder that it negates the extra warranty, case, stalling force, and extra battery of the Elite for $100?

IMO, the pro is overkill for consumer use. Various angles is not really needed and either is interchangeable batteries unless you are using it for a clinic and need to use it constantly throughout the day. I have the mini, and it's pretty easy to stall. I've compared the Prime and Elite side by side. I couldn't get the prime to stall and there was no noticeable difference in regular operation. While the Elite comes with some extras such as a display, it's programmable to choose what speeds you want at each setting, and comes in a nice case. I think those are all nice, but completely unnecessary in the real-world application.

Thanks for the input. Did you end up getting a Prime then or just sticking with the Mini?

I have both. I use the mini on the go or traveling and the prime for at-home use. The mini is good for just maintaining while the prime will do a better job of working deeper into the muscle.

Wife loves our Prime, but these guns are loud as hell even on the lowest setting. We do prefer them to the offbrand ones you find on Amazon though.
