This will be a more specific deal for those on Verizon that value the mmwave 5G antenna in the Pixel 6. For those that may not know a difference between the 6 and 6 pro is the MMWAVE 5G antenna. But this antenna is in the Google pixel 6 version with Verizon which adds to the price variance of $599 and $699 for an unlocked or Verizon version of the Pixel 6. This deal provides $150 off if you activate with Verizon at Best buy. One item to note is Verizon will tack on a $35 activation fee on your next billing cycle. But this is a great option for those that want the Pixel 6 price but value the MM wave 5G antenna that's in the 6 pro.

Pardon my ignorance, but what's so good about having the MM wave 5g antenna? This is only needed if you're not using Wi-Fi is that right?

Is this needed for travelling abroad?

Also, this price is for new customers only I'm guessing.

The mmwave is the extremely fast 5G signal. Essentially you normally need to be closer and have no interferences between you and the tower. And this is for anyone on Verizon not new customers.

There are two 5G wavelengths. The normal pixel 6 only has one antenna to pick up one signal, whereas this one has a second like the 6 pro. And yes, being on wifi negates the need for cellular data.

Thanks!! When I asked about new vs existing customers, I was talking about the deal specifically. This price is only for new customers I bet.

Thanks OP for posting this. I just ordered a stormy black 128gb as a current customer. The price works out to $549.99, so it's a pretty good deal considering it's normally $699, and the only way you can get any sort of deal directly from VZ is trade in and upgrade to Unlimited.

It is a great use in extremely clustered, dense environments. Think stadiums or concerts. Otherwise not all that useful to most

Is the only difference between the standard Unlocked Pixel 6 and the Verizon version (which is $100 more) is the 5G mmWave antenna? That seems like a big price difference for just that, or are there more differences (other than possible Verizon bloatware?)?

Yep. That's the only difference I know of. But it does provide those insane speeds for download that 5G is famed for.

Amazingly it is not! You can be an existing customer. I went through the whole check out and sign in to Verizon and it gave me the discount!

That does seem like a decent deal for a Pixel 6 for folks using Verizon!

EDIT (adding to my post):
As I was clicking around on BestBuy's page, I noticed that the regular "unlocked" version of the Pixel 6 in Kinda Coral with 128GB storage is only $499 so that's $100 off the normal price for the unlocked version if you activate on Verizon. I saw it mentioned that it's $449 for T‑Mobile, AT&T and Sprint. Better check the fine print as I saw T-Mobile and Sprint denoted as needing a new line or account.

I'd love to activate an unlocked one on a new line but I can't find it available anywhere near me and it's not available for shipping either...

I'd check if they have coverage in your area, in Hawaii they have no towers so the mmwave would be pretty useless bloatware for me.

I went into BestBuy today to pickup a phone for my daughter. We use Verizon so I thought the $549 price was reasonable for a Pixel 6 HOWEVER the phone rang up for me at $399.

Here's what I saw on the receipt:

Would anyone know what "VRZN MB PHN BNDL 1" is? I assume some sort of Verizon Phone Bundle but I was quite shocked to see the phone ring up at $399 instead of $549...
