Yes this has an app for Android and iPhones, Google "Simplisafe app" and you'll find links to both. Here are the subscription [simplisafe.com] options.

Depending on your needs and budget, here are a few options to consider and research further:

1) Are you looking for a security camera only or security camera and keypad/sensors?
Eufy goes on sale for $30 every few months if you can wait, buy a microSD memory card and you have a security camera with $0 monthly fees. If you have a microSD card installed, it can record 24/7 and notify your cell phone if it detects motion and yes there is an app available, monthly fee starts at $0.
2) If you're looking for a security camera and keypad/sensors another option to consider is Ring [ring.com] which is sometimes available at CostCo and might be on sale next week for BF/CM.
3) Google search "best self-monitored home security systems without monthly fees"

Simplisafe monitoring service is decent. I have the $25 plan and my kids accidentally set the alarm a few times and dispatcher called right away. You can buy the kit from Sams Club that has 2 cameras (indoor and new outdoor) for $199.

Thanks. The Video also says if we use Camera we can manage. But I get your point. I am looking for basic inexpensive security system for single home without subscription with mobile app. Any pointers will be appreciated.
