Yes weight and form matters to me - and I like the keyboard and trackpad layout of this one compare to say the legion 5 pro for example, which has a mix switch (o think?)
That said besides the legion what's comparable to the g5 and that has a mux switch and better cooling?

Currently there's a selection of units, Omen17T QHD 3070 140w mux(well cooled, metal construction) for 1450$ and 1390$ with Cashback (can't mention site on Slickdeals will be removed/banned), Eluktronics Mech 15(sold by cyberpower under different name on their website), 3070 140w mux QHD 1599$, this is the option if your want a more portable laptop vs the 17" Omen, but still well cooled and well made(glass trackpad, 4w speakers)
