Jura's factory serviced website is having a sale on their E8 Piano White Refurbished for $1299. Their normal price on the website is $1599.

I was looking for this about a month ago, but they only had the $100 off coupon, but it did not add taxes. Unfortunately, they seem to have fixed that on their ordering system. Nevertheless, it's still a bit cheaper than with the $100 off coupon from earlier. I think if Costco does get the E8 at $1599 like they had earlier this year, that maybe a slightly better deal as you are covered by Costco's generous return policy, and an extra 1 year of warranty. This refurbished unit comes with only 1 year of warranty. I did call Jura about possibility of adding an extra year, they said that would be an option as it gets closer to the 1 year anniversary. That would cost around $150 or so. But I got too tired of refreshing the Costco website daily searching for the E8, I finally caved and bought this unit. Hopefully I get a unit similar to other reviews posted on the website (as in the unit looks like it's new).

I bought the same color about a month ago. I absolutely love it! It is so sleek looking and cleans up easily. Highly recommend the white!
It generally refers to a (high) gloss finish. Color doesn't really matter.
I'll second this. Their customer service (based in the USA) is really good. They even have some nice repair and cleaning programs that will make these machines last a really long time. We've had ours for a long time and have been extremely happy with Jura.
Can't go into the wayback machine when Costco had it new for $1599, but that would've been a better deal. Considering shipping was included with Costco and it would come with a 2 year warranty vs 1 year on the refurb (extending to two would cost another $150.) Hindsight... it is a $100 savings on a refurb. On the fence here.

It's a larger unit and I believe the E8 has more built in drink capabilities as well as a pass through for ground coffee (I think people find it helpful in case they want to drink decaf in the evening, they can use the pass through)

The Costco price was 1300 and it comes back in stock every few months for those who want to wait.
