I like rtings reviews because they are unbias and give a real detailed review on headphones. These headphones won't outperform the real expensive headphones that retail for like $350 like the Sony WH-1000XM4 but those cost way more at $350 retail (or $250 sale price). I compared the rtings ratings between various other noise cancelling headphones and these JBL beat out lots of the others and that includes Beats. These headphones have a 7.7 neutral sound on rtings and that is quite impressive. It clearly beats out the budget noise cancelling headphones and even smidges out the solid Sony WH-H910N (retails for $250 and with the black friday sale for $150 now) in mid, bass and treble accuracy. At $100 sale price (retail $200), these quality headphones are a solid deal. I have been very happy with my JBL products so I bought these headphones and also the JBL Live 500BT that is on sale as gifts.

*** The Harman Audio Store on ebay is also selling these on sale for $99.99 and have black, blue and white color available. Also Amazon has the black friday sale price but stock is only in white and blue.

Got these for $60 from BB (PM to OD): https://slickdeals.net/f/15312550-jbl-live-660nc-headphones-with-mic-on-ear-bluetooth-wireless-wired-active-noise-canceling-black-59-99

OD had a listing mistake -- Tune for Live, so I had a chance to try both back-to-back. In summary:
  • Tune is more comfortable on ears
  • Live sounds better
  • Live has much better NC
  • Live looks more premium
I kept BB's Live and returned OD's Tune. Neither support aptX low latency, but has a "video mode". When connected to my Nvidia Shield or laptop via BT, "video mode" kept audio in sync with video perfectly. There is also wired option which 500/510 lack.

Also, $99 is pretty much normal price everywhere, even a month ago when I PM'd to BB. Tune is now $49 everywhere.

You got real lucky and got a steal on that mistake typo. That is pricing typo error and you can clearly see all the people receiving the cheaper lesser model Tune. I would be upset to receive the budget entry Tune but expecting the better and more expensive Live 660NC.

Right now, the JBL Tune 660 is on black friday sale for $49.99 (retail $99.99) on Amazon. It has pretty good 4.5 out of 5 review score. For me? It is much more "budget entry level" and I can't go back to on the ears muffs as it is too warm on the ears and too much outside noise. I will say that on the ear muffs look better on people's heads than big on the ear muffs that looks a little weird.

I purchased JBL Live 660NC and will be receiving it today.... I also purchased the JBL Live 500BT and will get it Friday Nov 26.

I wear my other older JBL headphones with Android tv (channel master stream+ OTA DVR), google tv (chromecasts) and fire tv and have no issues at all with sync. I even game with JBL E55BT with my PS4. JBL does a good job with sync. JBL and Sony are my favorite audio brands as that is what I use mostly for speakers and headphones.... Except for the Samsung Galaxy Buds+.

Yes I said it was a listing mistake, and used it to PM BB successfully on a real Live 660NC which I kept.

Yes already said Tune 660NC is $49, not just on Amazon but pretty much everywhere.

Yes also said Live 660NC is $99, not just on BB but pretty much everywhere. Has been $99 everywhere since beginning of Oct and expected it to be less for BF.

The Live 660NC won't be cheaper on Black Friday. It is the black friday price that best buy and others including JBL store puts out. We see many sellers start to put out the Black Friday prices earlier than just the Black Friday Nov 26th. On top of that, Best Buy has the Black Friday price guarantee. JBL website is labeling it "The Black Friday" price with the Black Friday Price guarantee. Amazon is saying "Limited time deal". It is no coincidence that the BIG 3 (JBL website store, Amazon and Best Buy) have the same Black Friday label deal prices now.

What is the Black Friday Price Guarantee?
It's how we give our Best Buy Totaltech™ and My Best Buy® members peace of mind. If you make a purchase on a "Black Friday Price Guarantee" item and the price goes down on or before November 26, 2021 (BLACK FRIDAY), we'll refund you the difference.

Yeah not sure about that "Black Friday price" when again, it's been $99 everywhere since beginning of October.

Not true. Not at Best Buy and JBL store. You are speaking for Amazon camelcamelcamel. The price was $200 for the longest time until Oct 3rd where they had the sale for a month but then it went back up to $200 for the next 3.5 weeks. Now with black friday event, it is for $100 sale. If you go to JBL website, they literally said Black Friday started already as they put out the black friday sales.

Nope. Been $99 at BB since Oct 1st. Only went up to $199 for 1 day on Oct 10. And as you said, been $99 on Amazon since Oct 1st and still going. I stopped using 3xCamel long ago. There are better price trackers but I don't think SD appreciates posting them here.

Right now, Best Buy is selling the black version for $99.99, blue version for $199.99 and the white version for $199.99.

Amazon doesn't sell the black version at all right now (Amazon.com seller sold out) but sells the blue version for $99.99 and the white version for $99.99.

JBL sells all 3 colors for $99.99. It won't be cheaper on Black Friday due to the black friday pricing guarantee. Best Buy, Amazon and JBL don't want to deal with all the people returning/requesting partial refunds by messing up the black friday price guarantees. If it isn't Best Buy, Amazon or JBL store, I don't have much interest in buying JBL electronics elsewhere as I stick with the big 3. Walmart, Target and Staples don't even carry the JBL Live 660NC.

Will it be cheaper on Black Friday? Highly doubt it.
Will it be cheaper on Cyber Monday or Christmas? Probably $99.99.

Amazon had the Black in stock for $99 since Oct 1st until this morning. See attached price tracker. Point is this has been $99 for almost 2 months, and JBL is calling it "Black Friday price"? How should we feel about buying any other BF deals that had been the same price and in stock for almost 2 months?

Look at Best Buy and you will literally see it say "Black Friday Deal".... Not just JBL saying black friday deal. Also Amazon shows "Listed Price at $199.99" and also literally says "WITH DEAL $99.95". Obvious a deal.

I already told you that Amazon that the price was $200 for blue model for the longest time until Oct 3rd where they had the sale for a month but then it went back up to $200 for the next 3.5 weeks. This is a fact but you don't want to believe c@mel. For some odd reason you think it is going to be $60 sale because you scammed the Best Buy system. It doesn't work that way.

So many things wrong with your response...

And we don't want to believe that black model had been available on both BB and Amazon for $99 since Oct 1st? Touche.

And any retailer (including Amazon and BB) that claims deal must be a deal? Anything lower than list price is a deal? Surprised coming from a grand teacher status SD'er.

And who said this must be $60 to be a BF deal? I only expected this to be lower than $99 which has been the normal sale price for almost 2 months.

And scamming BB system? Did they have to honor my PM? It was totally their decision to sell me a JBL Live 660NC for $60.

You knowing that it was a typo error and you being that irate customer trying to scam. They are supposed to honor legit deals and not typo errors. Poor Best Buy employee tricked. Hopefully he wasn't fired or had to pay the difference out of his salary.... Anything to save a buck right? We always see customers who try to find a loophole to save as much they can.

When I do pricematch, I only did it on legit deals from competitors. Not trying to scam them with typo deals. It is unethical. Just like people who try to scam the google chromecast and netflix deal return policy. People are raised differently. I would never do such a thing just because of some loophole scam. Anything to save a buck right.
