Lowest ever price, according to camel.

Great if you want Wi-Fi6 and wired backhaul.

I watched this get released for $479, and immediately jump up to $599 and stay there for nearly a year.... it briefly dropped to $479 a ~month ago, but $449 is a new low.

Spoke to an Amazon rep and according to her this deal is on only until Black Friday. If you haven't gotten the 20% off trade-in, now (like today) would be the time so you can maximize the discount. You have to trade in an old router (has to be one of the routers they accept) and once they receive it, they'll add the 20% off to your eero purchase. It's only 4/5 days until black Friday so the sooner you ship it the sooner you are able to get the 20% off and buy at an extremely good discount.

Do they give you 20% off retroactively or do you need to wait for it?

Need to wait for it. I sent in my router today. Let's see how long it takes to get the 20% applied to my account. Hopefully before Friday (when this current discount - $449 ends).

Just picked this up with ATT fiber gigabit. For the life of me I can't get more than 400mb standing in front of it wirelessly on main router with the others disconnected to rule out the possibility of interference.

My previous TP link AX1500 gets me 700mb wireless in the same exact place.

Got a TP link deco ax5700 on the way to see if it gets me better speeds.

To be fair the eero has had great range and reliability, its just the speed is not there for me.
