We have this car seat for our tiny sedan and it fits really well. You most likely won't be able to have 3 across but two fits fine.

Would you say this is a good car seat at a good price? We have a (first and only) 9 month old grandson, and was prepared to spend a week over-thinking and researching car seats, but suddenly feel like this one is fine. Any quick thoughts?

When you put this in your cart, it says it's excluded from coupons. I suppose it's a big YMMV on getting them to apply a coupon in-store.

CORRECTION: Although this item says it's excluded from coupons, they seem to be working anyway. Note: If you don't have a BuyBuyBaby coupon but do have one for Bed Bath and Beyond, you can buy the same item through their site and use your coupon.

Perhaps Graco has some kind of patent lock for now on car seats that also convert to booster seats? They have had numerous models but I've never seen any other domestic brand wade into this space. Perhaps I've been too satisfied with the Britax for rear-facing feature superiority (the anti-rebound bar) to notice the competition(?).

I really like the look of the LATCH hooks for this series. Plenty of models, including the Britax mentioned above, include basic metal hooks. They're functional but make attachment and (especially) disconnection more difficult.

Thanks. It's going for $182 right now. The extra 2" should be worth it for a compact car.
