Currently using a Motorola SB6141 and want to buy a defect-free modem. I have heard of newer models possessing a defect and should be avoided due to some "chip" issue. Any recommendations?
Gotta appreciate the competition!!!

I noticed a big improvement in performance when I moved from an SB6183 to a used Netgear CM1000 from ebay. YMMV

I usually switch back and forth. Guess I'll be switching back to Verizon soon. $40 for 200/200. I'm in northern VA.
I have two options from Xfinity available to me. The first is 400Mbps (with caps just around the corner in '22) for $82.99 - this is what I have and it seems good. The only other one available is 50 Mbps for $65.
I live in Central Delaware and really Xfinity is the only option available with these two pricey IMO plans. I have contacted TMobile for their 5G plan which is supposedly available, but they have a big backlog of waiting customers they are telling me.
It just seems so bizarre that posts like these show much better deals than what I can get. :-(

Facts. I get excited seeing these posts and there literally is no better deals than what I have one the website.
