$60 for 900MBps, which is twice the speed I had, and $10 less per month.

Any good modems for xfinity internet?

Currently using a Motorola SB6141 and want to buy a defect-free modem. I have heard of newer models possessing a defect and should be avoided due to some "chip" issue. Any recommendations?

Verizon is getting complacent with prices lately where I live ( DC area ). The gigabit internet is $90 now with Auto-Pay. It used to be $80. Cox dropped the prices lately and T-Mobile is working hard to get customers on board with their Home internet. This is what I see from a bunch of mailers in our mail room on daily basis.
Gotta appreciate the competition!!!

Any of the Docsis 3.1 modems are basically fine that are approved by your cable provider.. Many of the 3.1 modems launched in 2017/2018 can be found used for $60 and under on ebay. I would avoid Docsis 3.0 when you can get a used 3.1 modem for cheap.

I noticed a big improvement in performance when I moved from an SB6183 to a used Netgear CM1000 from ebay. YMMV

Definite YMMV my offers are nowhere near these, 80 for 900mbs and no 600mb option even listed.

Currently paying $40 for 200/5. My promo ending soon and the only offer I get is $65 for 50/5. New customers can pay $30 for 200/5.

I usually switch back and forth. Guess I'll be switching back to Verizon soon. $40 for 200/200. I'm in northern VA.

Never seem to get these offers in Connecticut. Paying $100 for 400mbps currently, 800 is $105 and 1200 is $110. The only "offer" I see is 50mbps for $65 heh.

I've seen these posts from time to time and I can never get close to replicating the offer.

I have two options from Xfinity available to me. The first is 400Mbps (with caps just around the corner in '22) for $82.99 - this is what I have and it seems good. The only other one available is 50 Mbps for $65.

I live in Central Delaware and really Xfinity is the only option available with these two pricey IMO plans. I have contacted TMobile for their 5G plan which is supposedly available, but they have a big backlog of waiting customers they are telling me.

It just seems so bizarre that posts like these show much better deals than what I can get. :-(
