Hear me out - this can be worth it.

I bought a refurb Elite controller for a similar price. A few months later it had some disconnect issues. Microsoft has a (not very well advertised) repair program, even beyond the 1 year warranty. I received mine repaired/replaced after shipping it back.

While there might be drifting issues, there are ways to get it repaired - if that doesn't bother you

How can I get this done? I got mine from an online seller for a good value but it has slight drift that bothers me in FPS games.

What's the cost and turn around time? At that point, might be worth it to just get a new one

Just a heads up this is the original series 1 of the elite controllers. Came out in 2015. No Bluetooth. These had grip problems as well
