This is about $20 off of the every day price. I know this because I was looking at this exact same setup with 6 cameras for $650. The 4 camera version was $489.

That's interesting. Are you sure you are referring to the 3TB NVR version? I have not seen this version anywhere closer to this price in everyday listing . Would love to see the listing link, if you are ok to share .
Basically the only you are referring to is a different tech when it comes to recorder.. That is a DVR and the one posted by me is a NVR. If your home is prewired, then primarily the type of wiring will drive the decisioning between the two.NVRs typically work with PoE & wireless cams where as the DVRs typically go with siamese cables.

Thanks, I thought that was the difference but wanted to make sure. I am definitely going to go with POE a this point in the game.
Yep took me a min to find it. Repped. Been looking for a poe system for a while to replace my eufy (decent) which replaced my arlo (garbage) system. Bought it from amazon in case of any problems, easier to return.

So that's the 6 camera version of the same system? Please verify it is.
It's starting to look like there not hurry or significant discount on this deal, it's slick because it's a far better choice than all the Ring/arlo crap, even at regular price. Do I got it right?
I'm about to pull the trigger. Im not sure if I sould get the 6 camera one, or go with PVR instead. That article says NVR can be much harder to diagnose. Running rg59 coax cable sounds less a pain in the ass than dealing with diagnose problems. rg59 coax cable is more durable and insulated than ethernet cable too. A PVR running rg59 might be a better choice.
Can anyone explain to me(us) what I might not be thinking about properly?
