Monster Hunter Rise - Nintendo Switch is available for $25.00 with Walmart right now. No Walmart+ Needed
This is the lowest price ever, the previous lowest price being $29.99 in the last few weeks.
This one snuck under the radar of the "Black Friday Deals" ad/page
Limit 1
Check your availability for store pickup, as it seems it may now be OOS online.
If it does come back in stock, shipping is Free for orders over $35+. Maybe get with Sonic Colors Ultimate for $20?

To compare some basic points from the two in list form:
The fun of the Souls games is in learning the difficult levels,
bashing your head against a difficult boss until you barely eek out a victory,
and gradually leveling your character and advancing your build.
For MH:
The levels themselves don't pose a threat: they're essentially a small sandbox where you explore, gather items, and use as an arena to fight the monsters
you bash your head against the next hard monster until you eek out a victory... for the first time. And then you fight it a couple more times if you want to make new equipment from it. A big part of the joy is the process of getting so good at fighting it that you feel powerful "because you actually got good"
You don't actually "level up". All your stats are determined by your equipment, which makes the equipment farming more worth it, and simultaneously makes the player skill aspect more important.
Essentially, they're completely different games. You can try the demo first if you're curious, but even that isn't a very good representation of the game, since they just throw you into the deep end without letting you experience the process of building up your player skill and equipment.

What wasn't well advertised was that Target actually had it on sale a couple of days ago for $30 and then the Buy 2 Get 1 free promo on video games they were running at the time actually stacked with it, effectively making it $20. If it wasn't for that score I probably would have been in on this Walmart deal.

However, the game didn't show up in their list of games going on sale when browsing through their site two hours ago. If it was on the physical ad, then I didn't see that. It also didn't show up on the other Slickdeals Post that talked about Walmart Video Games.
Here's a 🍪. For those who say oos, I just bought for pick up in my hood.
