Code at checkout: BEDBATH50

Expires 11/29

DoorDash in my area is charging a 7% service fee. I have done a few price comparison with DD prices vs BBB website price and they seem to be the same.

Example of savings if you place a ~$60 order to get the $30 off:

ORDER FROM
Bed Bath & Beyond
Subtotal
$61.98
Delivery Fee
$0.00
Fees & Estimated Tax
$6.88
Discount
-$30.00
Dasher Tip
$0.00 (you should probably tip)
Total
$38.86

haha, OP, no tip!? Not sure if I feel happy or sad about it. My dashers and instacart drivers often drive BMW, TESLA etc. And the most expensive car I ever bought costed me $31K. Not that I can't afford. I have a paid off $1.5M house, quite comfortable savings. But I am a true slickdealers and I don't think a car is worth more than that. So I guess in at least some metrics they are richer than me! Wonder if the drivers are often even better slickdealers than me and instead of wasting money on deals, they earn money by not wasting time on slickdeals, and instead drive around and doing shopping for others!

I didn't place an order. I set the tip to $0 for the example because I can't guess what you'll tip.

US is the only country in the world where a tip exists.
If you own a company or restaurant, you should pay workers more, so a buyer doesn't have to pay more out of pocket.
When customers are willing to pay workers out of their pockets, only companies and restaurants benefit the most.

They'd just increase menu prices if they did or had to increase wages.

Yes, but at least we know how much exactly we pay out of pocket, and these companies and restaurants still have to compete and so price won't increase 20-30%.

I know a Doordasher that YOLO'd 63k into SHIB a couple months ago and it turned into 463k at the peak. He took out his initial investment and let the rest free roll. So there's definitely some rich Doordashers out there.
