For those with Ring Alarm, and if you have Ring Protect - Amazons takes 10 percent off automatically, so essentially you will be paying 31.49$ for those interested in getting it from Amazon. Not to thread-crap, just saying.
I have one of these under my kitchen sink and they work amazing
Additionally DISH10 coupon code takes off $2.99 on ontechsmartservices.com and brings down the price to $27
You can definitely get cheaper sensors, but for me, it's most important that I'm notified from anywhere so I can take immediate action if something's flooding. I have several of these around the house: Attic furnace humidifier, upstairs washing machine, and water heater. It's great that they notify both the in-house alarm and app. Plus if you pay for monitoring, you'll get a call if one of them trips. It's great peace of mind, even if expensive.

It connects wirelessly to the alarm's base station. There's a couple of contact points that get activated if it gets wet, and a temperature sensor that senses freeze conditions.

If it triggers, a notification tone will play on your alarm station until you clear it. You'll also get a notification in your app, and if you have monitoring services, they'll give you a call.

Can confirm they work very well at detecting even a little bit of water, and that you get a quick call from the call center if one triggers... my toddler likes to do big splashes in the bath and sometimes the sensor isn't as far away as it probably should be.

If you pay for ring protect you should see the $3.50 RP discount on the final page just prior to clicking pay. I believe you can get the same RP discount buying from the Ring siteā€¦
