Not true.
You CAN* get get Ridgid's Lifetime Service Agreement (LSA) with Direct Tools Factory Outlet (DTFO) as long as they are FACTORY BLEMISHED.
You CAN'T get LSA on FACTORY RECONDITIONED DTFO items.
Don't believe** me, call DTFO and please post their response.
If they don't confirm what I said, please post back the store phone number & person you spoke to.
* I have done this more then 3 times. ** Why should you? I'm just some stranger on the internet.

Cool story. You can tell them to correct their warranty page on their website then. It doesn't get any clearer than "All RIDGID Factory Blemished Power Tools and Outdoor Equipment are covered by a 3-year warranty." https://www.directtoolsoutlet.com/warrantypolicy

I assume that you did not call DTFO to confirm. :-(
It would have been much easier if you did, but here goes...
The 3-Year warranty is normal and if you don't registrar for the LSA within time.
If you notice: The link that you provided, does not even mention LSA.
I will not call DTFO to correct their page, because it is correct.
It is just not complete because it does not mention LSA.
Everything I wrote is true.
Before I purchased my 1st Ridgid item, I called DTFO to confirm --which is why I suggested that you do the same--.
Something else I found out by calling my local DTFO is that they offer a 10% Military discount on non sale items. This is something that the website doesn't do & may be something that only certain DTFO stores do.
You may be surprised about the things that you may learn by contacting places and asking questions.
Factory Blems from Direct Tools can be registered for the LSA, I've done it many times. There's even a selection for it during registration. See pic:
Now, can we please stop arguing about it?
Edit: And no, you don't actually have to physically mail anything in. Just upload the receipt or attach it to an email and ask them to review your registration.

Since you mentioned stories, you should read that ALL Ridgid power tools come with a 3 year warranty. You have to register in order to get the LSA, which factory blemished qualifies for the same as anything you buy new from Home Depot.

Thank you for this info. I actually just mailed in some receipts, so anymore I know I can email them.

However: f you want it, I would check the site from time to time.
Yesterday, their 50% off item was store only and others reported that it changed and became available through the site.
At the time I post this, it is still only available (if in stock) at a store. :-(
As a reminder: This sale is for TODAY ONLY.
Good Luck.
* 461 there and 461 back.

Lifetime service agreement is separate from warranty and still applies.
