Dang. Bought this 2 days ago and didn't get the gift card promo. I'll report back to see if support will make an adjustment for me.
EDIT: Well, Dell told me to pound sand. No willingness to make an adjustment. Too late to cancel (In Production, but not shipped). Returns will cost 15% in restocking fee.

Also check the statutes in your area... Restocking fees are illegal in many places.
The poster who posted the other link with Dell's holiday returns policy mentions restocking fees only for televisions, which this most certainly is not.

So I chatted yesterday to see if I could use the 10% newsletter subscription promo. Was told no, but after some back and forth they said they would take $75 off and still include the $150 gc. Also you can split payments on this so if you have 2 amex sync cards w/the dell promo, you could take off an additional $250. Huge ymmv but turns a good deal into a great deal.

Na screw that. Try another rep. Also no restock fee on monitors right now for holidays.
It's a very nice monitor but I think $1300 is flat out overpriced. After cashback/Dell points paid a little under $1100 for mine this summer, and that wasn't the lowest it's been either. $1000 would be slick IMO.
$1300 + $150 GC + 8% cashback is not bad if you can use the $150 GC. Otherwise I'd probably just use the newsletter EPP coupon for $1170. I don't think cashback works if buying through EPP but it's still a better deal overall if the GC isn't usable.
Also the GC expires in 90 days.
EDIT: The $150 GC offer does appear on the EPP site so it may be possible to get both the 10% off and the GC which is pretty good. If cashback works on the EPP site then there's another $117 so potentially $1053 + $150 GC.
only reason I might pick this over the samsung one is due to issues with the samsung monitor and If I have a ton of dell rewards left over.
No argument on the Dell rewards! What issues have there been with the Samsung? I've had mine for a few months and haven't noticed a problem. My only wish is that the stand was taller.

For the record, I use the Samsung at work and it's fantastic, replaced 4 x 21 inch monitors.
