Have bought from seller before and no issues. Also have the drill. It's awesome. Chips concrete pretty well and with the right bit, runs through concrete and blocks sooo much smoother and faster than my hammer drill
I bought this a few months ago. Decent tool for the price. Really wish I had stepped up to an SDS-Max tool though. There are several bits I'd like to use that just aren't available with a Plus shank (tamper plate and spade for example). But I concur with the other comments that this thing drills concrete much better than my hammer drill. It has saved me a bunch of time.
Very interesting. Anyone have experience with this seller?
Yes they are very reputable. I have bought several times and no tax which is a bonus. This seems to be asked every time there is a post here on slickdeals from them and there tends to be a lot of post from this seller. This site seems to be the go to for bare tool deals constantly. Other places like home depot and lowes typically require hacks or selling stuff to score a lower price while this site jus tends to have the best straight up sale prices with no hassle.
Interesting. My retail box is XR branded (see attached pic).
I looked up previous sales of this tool. There seems to be a confusing/conflicting info (on SD and other sites). Some say the box says XR, some say it doesn't, and that the tool itself doesn't have an XR label,
But either way, all XR on a tool supposed to mean is that it's brushless.
No matter the XR label, the tool itself definitely says brushless so I guess it doesn't really matter?
Perhaps this tool model was released before the XR line was officially released?
.
We have been using a couple of these SDS-Plus 133's for several years and they are fine. But, if you can catch a deal for the SDS-Plus DCH263B[dewalt.com] with the Vibration control, besides having a little more power, there is a noticeable difference with vibration when using a lot.
The SDS-Plus bits that are backwards compatible to the SDS are plentiful and most everywhere. If you jump to the SDS-Max that we have in a corded Bosch, that is much larger bit (18mm vs 10mm), not so plentiful, much more expensive and not backwards compatible to anything.
Will this be good to retrofit foundation or better to get corded? I'm not expecting the battery will last the whole project but also don't want to drill 4 holes and have to recharge.

Not tax, so that was a nice surprise of a little extra savings I did not expect.
Supposedly they will ship fast and be here in the next few days.
I love this tool BTW. Drills a 3/4 hole through 10" foundation in about a minute
I've ordered from them a few times, never any problem or delay in shipping
In fact, I ordered a different DeWalt rotary hammer from them a few months ago:

UPDATE: As an FYI:
Even though this is a brushless tool, it is not branded as an XR.
What does this mean?
I honestly do not know for sure, as a XR tool is supposed to mean that the tool is brushless, which this is.
XR branded batteries mean that they more efficient
