This is probably a good deal, but to me the era of carrying around either SLA or AGM batteries is over.

Lithium-ion batteries last longer, are easier to carry, and are cheaper.

Lasting longer depends on the quality of battery and how often you use... or don't use/charge it with lithium. Lithium jumper packs are also more dangerous to keep in a vehicle full time with the constant heat exposure during summer and they aren't that reliable for jumping a car in the dead of winter when the pack itself is cold from being stored in the vehicle. One thing about lithium is that it doesn't like to be stored at full charge if you want the batteries to last, and storing them with a full charge all the time is the exact use case with a jumper pack ideally.

I'm not saying that lithium packs are useless or suck..... just that they still have their shortcomings with the current technology. I have a few lithuim powered jumper packs and most don't hold any charge after 2 years of barely any use other than occasional charge and maybe 1 jump per year. I also have a big old heavy acid battery unit that is like 9 years old, gets used all the time for airing up tires and jumping friends vehicles. That being said, I always carry a small lithium jumper in my backpack for motorcycle trips further than my immediate home vicinity.

I have one of those small lithium ion car jump starters that cost $60. It's worked great for me - I had a car that was needing constant jumps. But I don't keep it in the car, so had to remember to bring it with me when I go out. It was small and can fit in a backpack.

This thing is much heavier, but could probably survive heat and cold better and work better when frozen. The air pump and 12V outlet is super useful. But they fail to disclose battery capacity in the description. It's 12V and 18AH from the questions section, so like 200Wh.

For value comparison, something like a Jackery or GoLabs is about 300Wh for a $200 lithium-battery ten pound unit. This has 2/3 the battery capacity, for half the price, and more weight.

Home Depot sells this for $139, but the version they sell has USB ports and AC inverter. The amazon model (the one in this post) excludes the AC inverter, USB ports, and 12V DC port.
