I guess we might have to just hope they are not:
1. An aficionado of doorbells or knowledgeable enough to know that this model does not store in the cloud and...
2. Not fast enough to steal the package and damage/steal the doorbell before the theif/doorbell-expert's picture is sent to the owner.

Nothing really. Have the ring doorbell and people don't even care if they are in camera. You see packages stolen almost everyday in the ring neighborhood app. Is good to alert you that someone is at the door when you are not home. And for that it's really useful compared to a regular .

Thieves don't care if they are on camera these days. They know cops aren't going to bother with petty crimes. With a mask and hoodie on, what are cops going to look for anyway? 😂
These cameras are good for evidence that you can show merchants that your order was or was not delivered. And notifying you who's at your door. Forget about the crime aspect.

I have 2k version at my parents tried the newer 1080 and the face capture isn't very clear compare to the 2k. So I'm returning the 1080 and getting the 2k
