I posted this in the last Yankee Candle Amazon thread and will warn again - I received a counterfeit Midsummer's Night candle from the $10 Amazon deal with almost no scent. It came packaged very well. Just a heads up.

Amazon sucks in quality and seller control. Anyone can sell anything on it and as long as Amazon gets their cut they give no care what they are selling and how customers are getting cheated on. So much for customer first company.

I had multiple issue like these where I got counterfeit or damaged product. I have hence moved to get stuff from Walmart, Target etc who have really stepped their game in shipping these days.

This one is sold and shipped by Amazon so not a third party for this one. Worst case you can call them and get your money back if it doesn't smell enough.

Other than than there was no scent, is there a way to check if it's a counterfeit. I bought that deal as well. I haven't tested it though.

I always thought Yankees were the pinnacle of the candle world. I bought one online from Walmart a week ago and it just smelled horrendously artificial. Promptly returned.

Check out bath and body works candles for a better quality controlled candle. Kringle is also a great company (started by the original owners of Yankee) where they do smaller batches and can better control for quality.
