Anyone play these on switch that can recommend the best two?
Pick whichever licensed property you like the most. Marvel 2 does have a bug that doesn't track some save data, but it isn't "game breaking" (you just need to replay some levels). I haven't played Marvel 1 on switch (already have it on a x360), but it has a smaller but maybe more satisfying open world that the sequel.

They are all fun games, pick the franchise you enjoy most. Super heroes 2 is fun, and whether or not you like jurassic Park movies or harry Potter. To be honest I picked up both super heroes, jurassic world, and Harry Potter. I enjoy all the games, and my kids love playing all of them too.

My kids and I have played these on different consoles, but not the Switch yet. I will say, I prefer the older ones over the new ones. The newer ones are just constant visual noise and even on an Xbox One S, they lag quite a big. In my mind the LEGO Harry Potter Collection was the perfect LEGO game, especially the first one (Years 1-4).
Been this price or cheaper for at least a year. What's up SD?
Price checkers don't show them going below $20 that often, once or twice at $15 but never cheaper. When were these ever cheaper?
I am thinking about getting HP for now.

I agree that the Harry Potter collection (and also Jurassic World) have a TON of content and are made for exploring and re-experiencing many times (as you have to unlock characters to really get to a lot of the good stuff and locked areas). They cover the large movie series.
I found that the super-hero ones were more action-oriented (a lot of flying/shooting rapid action) that some kids might find fun, but as an old guy I found annoying because I much prefer to explore slowly with my group of characters and make choices about which character has the best ability to solve a certain puzzle or unlock something special. To me, the trend was toward shorter games and less content but much more fast-action if that's what you're into.
