TP-Link Deco AX5700 Tri-Band Smart Whole Home Mesh Wi-Fi 6 System (2-pack) for $289.99 ($312.90 with tax for online order) after $100 discount as part of Black Friday deal.
I just picked this up (Shipping) . Did a bit of research and for my use (wireless backhaul) it was this or the eero pro for $299. Went with this because of the 2.5Gbps port (I have a gig fiber right now).
Hopefully it improves from my basic AX1500 router that I just set up in my new house (brought it over from the small apartment I used to live in).
The general consensus is that this is 99% identical to the x90 but significantly cheaper.
Edit: Picked up an EERO 6 pro 2 pack today to test while I wait for the Costco 5700, with a 1GB conx, I'm getting around 200-500 MBPS on wireless backhaul, its way better than what I had but I want to see if that number goes higher with the AX5700.
4× High-Gain Antennas (Internal)
Multiple antennas form a signal-boosting array to cover more directions and large areas
2× Smart Antennas (Internal)
Smart antennas auto-detect other Deco units to establish a stronger backhaul between one another to boost WiFi coverage
4×4 MU-MIMO
Simultaneously communicates with multiple MU-MIMO clients
5× High-Gain Antennas
Multiple antennas form a signal-boosting array to cover more directions and large areas
3×3 MU-MIMO
Simultaneously communicates with multiple MU-MIMO clients
So yea, it's possible to achieve higher speed with X5700 and stream better to multiple devices given the right circumstances.
However, X5700 has been around longer and many reviews suggest wifi connection drops and etc. And also it only comes with 2 satellites vs. 3 with Costco AX3600.
Word of caution you might need to replace any dlink switches if you plan on using a wired backhaul. They don't play nice with IEEE 1905.1 spec which deco uses. I was using 2 OnHubs with ethernet backhaul no trouble. The Deco caused a crazy network loop with a d-link 24port unmanaged switch in the middle. Replaced it with another brand unmanaged switch and all is great.
It's a MASSIVE improvement over the OnHubs. I'm finally maxing out my 1Gbps connection both wired and wireless. I have a 1/2 acre property and have good signal through whole house and every corner of the yard. That's with one Deco in two opposite corners of the house.
Thinking of trying these out as I'm tired of my XT8 dropping connections and ASUS struggling with stable firmware.
Anyone has suggestions whether these are better than Velop AX4200? I know about 160hz, but besides that?
Just as an update to my previous comment. I wasn't happy with the eero pro 6's wifi performance in terms of speed over wireless backhaul and my fiber connection, 300-400mb tests on every device out of 1000. Since its black friday and everything is on sale I decided to try the orbi RBK753...The app is trash and the dedicated 2400mb backhaul yields speeds slower than the eero, I'm not expecting my full 1000mb over wifi but the results are insulting considering there is a dedicated band for it plus that high speed band is ONLY for wireless backhaul, if you do wired, the band goes completely unused. No support after 90 days unless you pay.
My costco order for this AX5700 shipped today, if it all pans out I will keep it. Also realized wireless backhaul isn't going to yield much for a gigabit user so I'm going to have someone come over and hard wire the backhaul for me(I can't crawl through my attic due to a busted knee). This way I can save the beefy 5ghz band for my clients. Fingers crossed that this works better than what I've already tested.

As per dong knows website, there is concern about privacy. What does anyone think?

I am using Velop ax4200 for a year. It worked fine. But now it is giving so many connection issues. So I am going to replace.

About the eero? I honestly couldn't care personally but I understand how people get concerned over amazon having their entire internet traffic at their disposal.
Their privacy policy says they will not use your data but thats hard to believe when you're talking about Amazon, the company that stores all your conversations ok Alexa devices.
The TP link requires an account to access your router through the app (I have an older model) nit even concerned about that. Most mesh systems like the orbi require registering.
Just ordered ax4200 orbi 2 pack renewed from amazon for $230. Which is a better deal any idea?
Are you planning to connect the satellite by ethernet or wirelessly to the main router? If wired, the super fast backhaul band goes unused on the orbi which is terrible for the price you are paying. I have the ax4200 orbi 2 pack right now, as soon as the TP link arrives its going back since I'm doing wired backhaul.
I hate that netgear charges for support after 90 days, how do you provide a 1 year warranty but charge after 90 days to use it? TP link provides 2 years.
Got them in today. Using wireless backhaul these pull 600-650 mbps out of my fiber gig service, full speeds using wired backhaul. Orbi is going back if everything else goes smooth with this unit. Only complaint is I wish it had more ethernet ports like the orbi.

Thanks for the great info in this thread. I tried and feel the same about the RBK753. Returned it.
I'm using a pair of Deco W6000 ($123 on sale), a Walmart exclusive similar to the X60 but with HE160 and only 2X2. They are working fine on my 400/20 connection with ethernet backhaul. Full speed on either.
Considering trying the AX5700 next time they are on sale.
