the s-max or the regular segway s are the motors that drive it
im not sure about this black gokart thing because im pretty sure its just looks and plastic
all mine are white go kart (fronts) with 2 regular motors and 2 s-max motors.
the original ones go just under 15mph max
the s-max go up to almost 25mph

fwiw, I've only ever used my Segway S for the kart, not as 'hoverboards' so not sure how fast the motors themselves are when not also powering a heavy kart.
The S-Max tops out at 12.4 mph in scooter mode but once you hook it up to the GoKart it will unlock the 23+ mph through the app.
Additionally, the Dark Gray GoKart combo is $1999 in-cart.
